History and Culture
Although the construction of Turpan Volcanic Red Wine Chateau began in 2016, it relies on the long history of grape planting and wine brewing in Turpan. The history of grape planting in Turpan can be traced back to BC, making it one of the earliest regions in China to plant grapes and brew wine, with a profound wine culture heritage.
During the construction and development process, the chateau pays attention to the inheritance and promotion of wine culture. The underground corridor details the origin, history, brewing techniques, varieties, and producing areas of wine. Along the corridor, there are 19 experience areas, including historical and cultural experience areas, wine tasting experience areas, and aroma experience areas. Each area has a different decoration style, reflecting the wine cultures of different countries and regions.
