Guangzhou BONSKI is located at No. 63 North Fenghuang Road, Huadu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province. It is an important component of Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City, a national 4A-level tourist attraction, and an indoor ice and snow theme park. As one of the large-scale indoor ski resorts in South China, the ice and snow venue covers a construction area of 75,000 square meters, with a snow area of approximately 57,000 square meters. It maintains a constant temperature of minus 6 degrees Celsius all year round. The biggest feature of the scenic spot is the all-weather indoor ice and snow experience in a subtropical city, breaking seasonal restrictions. It integrates professional skiing and parent-child ice and snow entertainment, with separate zones for professional ski runs and public snow entertainment, meeting the travel needs of skiing enthusiasts and families with children. The venue is equipped with a ski equipment hall, gear rental center, lounge service area, ice and snow-themed shops and other supporting spaces. Combining sports, leisure, research and cultural tourism experiences, it is one of the core business formats of Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City.
History and Culture
Formerly known as Guangzhou Sunac Snow Park, Guangzhou BONSKI was invested and constructed by Sunac Cultural Tourism and included in the overall planning as a key section of Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City. Located in Huadu District, Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City is a key cultural tourism project of Guangzhou. It aims to fill the gap of large-scale indoor ice and snow cultural tourism formats in South China and enrich cultural tourism products in the Pearl River Delta.
The venue officially opened to the public after construction, and was later renamed Guangzhou BONSKI following unified brand upgrading. There is no natural snow in South China in winter. Since the launch of this indoor ice and snow project, it has provided local residents in southern China with a place to experience ice and snow and learn skiing up close. It regularly carries out ice and snow research activities and public skiing promotion campaigns to popularize ice and snow sports in Lingnan Region. The scenic spot has no ancient historical relics. Its core value lies in serving as a carrier of modern ice and snow cultural tourism industry. It continuously hosts skiing experience events and ice and snow-themed festivals, becoming an important venue for the popularization of ice and snow sports in the Pearl River Delta.
Main Attractions
Advanced Ski Run
The Advanced Ski Run is designed for visitors with proficient skiing skills. It features steep slopes and sufficient length, suitable for advanced skiing enthusiasts to practice high-speed sliding and turning techniques. The ski run is equipped with magic carpet transport equipment. Skiers can take the magic carpet back to the starting point after sliding. This area is only accessible to visitors with skiing gear who master basic speed control and braking skills, and beginners are not allowed to enter.
Intermediate Ski Run
The Intermediate Ski Run has moderate slopes, with difficulty between beginner and advanced ski runs. It is suitable for visitors who have mastered basic sliding and want to improve their skiing skills. The ski run features a spacious space with relatively balanced passenger flow. It serves as the main area for skiers to practice advanced skills. Professional ski coaches are available for paid coaching services on site.
Beginner Ski Run
The Beginner Ski Run features gentle slopes and moderate length, specially built for skiing newcomers. It is ideal for first-time visitors to experience alpine skiing and snowboarding. Protective facilities are arranged around the ski run to reduce injury risks for novice skiers. Most skiing experience courses are held in this zone.
Snow Entertainment Zone
The Snow Entertainment Zone is the core area for parent-child activities. No skiing skills are required. It offers various recreational items including snow tubing, ice bumper cars, snow slope slides and ice castles. Snow sculptures and photo spots are arranged in the zone for sightseeing and photography. Both the elderly and children can enter without any skiing foundation, making it the primary play area for family visitors.

Travel Tips
- It is recommended to reserve 3 to 4 hours for your visit, covering gear collection, changing, playing and equipment return.
- Skiing beginners should start on the Beginner Ski Run. Hire professional coaches to learn basic braking and turning skills. Do not head for intermediate and advanced ski runs directly.
- Purchase tickets online in advance to avoid peak passenger flow during holidays and reduce queuing time on site.
- The venue temperature is low. Even though basic cold-proof suits are provided, visitors sensitive to cold can bring thin gloves and warm socks.
- Prepare waterproof phone bags in advance if you want to take photos on snow to prevent electronic devices from being soaked by snow water.
- Children must be accompanied by adults throughout the visit. Follow staff instructions when playing projects such as snow tubing.
- Do not drink large amounts of cold drinks immediately after playing to avoid physical discomfort caused by drastic temperature changes.
Notes
- Cold-proof clothing must be worn inside the ski resort. Prolonged exposure of bare skin to low temperatures may cause frostbite.
- Wear protective gear while skiing. Do not walk against the slide direction or stop abruptly during high-speed sliding to prevent collision injuries.
- Visitors suffering from heart disease, hypertension, asthma or severe joint diseases are not recommended to take part in strenuous skiing activities.
- Glass containers, sharp objects and food are prohibited inside the snow area to avoid scratches and snow surface contamination.
- Play strictly within areas marked by ski run signs. Do not climb over protective fences to enter closed zones without permission.
- Extra fees will be charged for overstaying. Please pay attention to the valid duration of your ticket.
- Follow on-site staff arrangements and safety reminders. Contact venue staff immediately in case of accidents.
- Keep valuables stored properly. Do not leave belongings unattended in lounge areas of the ski resort.

- Metro: Take Guangzhou Metro Line 9 to Huadu Square Station, then take a taxi to Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City, around 3 kilometers away.
- Bus: Take Bus Route Hua75A or Hua76 to Sunac Cultural Tourism City bus stop, and walk to the venue entrance.
- Self-driving: Navigate to "Guangzhou BONSKI (Guangzhou Sunac Cultural Tourism City)". Large underground parking lots are available inside the cultural tourism city, and parking fees are charged according to scenic spot standards.
- Intercity Transport: Visitors from other cities can take high-speed trains to Guangzhou North Station, then take a taxi for approximately 10 minutes to reach the venue.
Opening Hours
The regular opening hours of Guangzhou BONSKI are 10:00 – 21:00, with the latest admission at 19:00. During statutory holidays and winter & summer vacations, the scenic spot may adjust opening hours according to passenger flow. Business hours may change on special event days. Visitors are advised to check official platforms for real-time opening hours before trips to avoid missed visits. The opening hours of the indoor ice and snow area are consistent with the park hours. Ski equipment rental service stops one hour before closing.
