Chimelong Spaceship is the core project of Phase II of Hengqin Chimelong Resort. Its overall construction spanned 12 years. Led by original Chinese design concepts, the project was planned and built by integrating global theme‑park resources. It was originally named Chimelong Universe Spaceship before adopting the official name Chimelong Spaceship for public use.
The project was officially announced on September 9, 2023, and soft‑opening commenced on September 16, 2023.
