Changying Century City is located in the Jingyue High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, Changchun City, Jilin Province, China. It is a national 5A-level tourist attraction and the first world-class film-themed amusement park in China. With film and television culture at its core, the scenic area integrates film special effects, film and television shooting scenes, and interactive experiences, and is known as the "Oriental Hollywood" and "Capital of World Special Effects Films". Changying Century City covers an area of approximately 300,000 square meters, with a variety of architectural styles in the park, encompassing multiple characteristics from ancient to modern times and both Chinese and foreign styles. It has 12 main attractions, each featuring different film technologies and themes, providing visitors with an immersive film and television experience.
Historical Culture
The construction of Changying Century City stems from the profound film and television heritage of Changchun Film Studio (referred to as "Changying"). Founded in 1945, Changying is the first film studio in New China and is known as the "cradle of New China's films". It has successively produced classic films such as "The White-Haired Girl", "Dong Cunrui", and "Shangganling", laying an important foundation for the development of China's film industry.
In order to inherit and carry forward film culture and let more people understand the mysteries of film production, Changying Group launched the Changying Century City project in 2003, which officially opened to the public in May 2005. As an important achievement of Changying's reform and development, Changying Century City combines film art with tourism experience, becoming an important window to display the development history of Chinese films and spread film culture.
Main Attractions
Huaxia Soaring
It is one of the iconic attractions of Changying Century City. Using suspended motion seats combined with dome screen film technology, it allows visitors to experience the shocking journey of "taking off" from Tiananmen Square and flying through China's famous mountains and rivers. The building height of the project is about 30 meters, the diameter of the dome screen is 25 meters, which can accommodate 100 visitors at the same time. Each experience lasts about 5 minutes, bringing an immersive flying feeling through realistic visual and dynamic effects.
Interstellar Adventure
Themed on space exploration, combined with 4D special effects and dynamic cabin technology, visitors will transform into astronauts and experience exciting scenes such as meteorite collisions and planet crossings in a virtual space environment. The building of this attraction covers an area of about 1,500 square meters, each cabin can seat 4 people, and the whole experience lasts about 8 minutes. It creates a real space exploration atmosphere through the linkage of vision, hearing, touch and other senses.
Extraordinary Laboratory
This is a 4D special effects cinema, with the story background of "a mad scientist's laboratory". When watching the film, visitors will simultaneously feel special effects such as water spraying, air jetting, and seat vibration. The cinema can accommodate 200 audiences, and the film lasts about 10 minutes. By combining visual images with environmental special effects, it makes the audience feel as if they are in a chaotic and interesting laboratory scene.
Hero Show
This attraction focuses on action stunt performances in films, with wonderful stunt scenes such as car chases, explosions, and gunfights staged regularly every day. The performance venue covers an area of about 2,000 square meters and can accommodate 1,500 audiences. Each performance lasts about 30 minutes. Professional stunt actors, through their superb skills, reproduce the thrilling action shots in films, allowing visitors to understand the shooting principles of film stunts.
Speed Shuttle
This is an indoor roller coaster project, combining dark environment and light effects. Visitors will pass through virtual scenes such as "tunnels" and "canyons" at high speed. The track is about 600 meters long, with a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour, and the whole experience lasts about 2 minutes. It creates a sense of excitement of traveling through time and space in the dark, suitable for adventure-loving visitors.

Changying Century City Food Plaza
There is a large food plaza in the scenic area, gathering characteristic snacks from all over the country, such as local Changchun fried noodles, bacon pancakes, as well as nationally famous spicy hot pot and hamburgers. The fried noodles are made of high-quality vermicelli, stir-fried with eggs, bean sprouts and other ingredients, with a smooth taste and rich sauce flavor, priced at about 15 yuan per serving. The bacon pancakes are crispy outside and tender inside, with a strong aroma of bacon, paired with sweet noodle sauce and shredded green onions, with a unique flavor, priced at about 20 yuan per serving, which can meet the taste needs of different visitors.

Within 3 kilometers around the scenic area, there are many Northeast Chinese restaurants, such as "Old Changchun Restaurant", which specializes in Northeast stews. Among them, the braised chicken with mushrooms uses local free-range chickens and wild mushrooms, stewed slowly over low heat, with tender meat and rich soup, priced at about 68 yuan per serving. The sweet and sour pork tenderloin is crispy outside and tender inside, sweet and sour, which is a classic Northeast Chinese dish, priced at about 48 yuan per serving, suitable for sharing among multiple people.

Opening Hours
The opening hours are adjusted according to the season. In summer (May 1 - October 31), it is open from 9:00 to 17:30; in winter (November 1 - April 30 of the next year), it is open from 9:30 to 16:30. Ticket sales stop 1 hour before closing. The last experience time of some attractions will be arranged in advance according to the closing time. - Bus: Take bus No. 102, 120 or 335, get off at Changying Century City Station, and walk about 5 minutes to the main gate of the scenic area.
- Light Rail: Take Light Rail Line 3, get off at Changying Century City Station, and walk about 10 minutes after exiting the station to reach the scenic area.
- Self-driving: Starting from downtown Changchun, drive along Jingyue Street in the southeast direction. The scenic area has a dedicated parking lot, with a charging standard of 20 yuan per day for small vehicles and 30 yuan per day for large vehicles. The parking lot can accommodate about 1,000 motor vehicles.
