Located in Dabaotai, Huaxiang Town, Fengtai District, Beijing, the World Park is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Featuring the theme of "bringing together the essence of world civilizations," the park showcases miniature models of iconic buildings, historical relics, and natural landscapes from over 100 countries and regions worldwide. It is a large-scale theme park integrating world culture, natural scenery, and folk customs. Covering a total area of approximately 46.7 hectares, the park houses nearly 100 miniature attractions. The architectural models are scaled down at various ratios, ranging from 1:10 to 1:1. It is a popular destination in Beijing for experiencing global cultures.

History and Culture

The World Park officially opened to the public in 1993 and is one of the earliest theme parks in China. Its original purpose was to allow visitors to appreciate the cultures and landscapes of various countries in one place, promoting cultural exchanges between China and the rest of the world. In the early days of its opening, the park focused on miniature landscapes, gradually constructing scaled-down models of iconic buildings such as the Eiffel Tower, Pyramids, and Taj Mahal.

With the development of the times, the park has continuously upgraded, adding folk performances, interactive experiences, and other projects, such as African tribal dances and European court costume experiences, enriching the cultural display forms. In 2008, the park was rated as a national 4A-level tourist attraction, becoming an important window for Beijing to showcase its diverse culture to the world. It receives over one million domestic and international tourists annually.
