Hefei Sunac Land is located at No. 800 Luzhou Avenue, Baohe District, Hefei City, Anhui Province. It is a large-scale Huizhou cultural theme park built by Sunac Cultural Tourism Group, a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Featuring traditional Huizhou culture as its core, the park integrates Huizhou-style architecture, historical allusions, folk customs and modern amusement facilities, creating a themed experience with both cultural heritage and entertainment value. Covering a total area of about 400,000 square meters, the park adopts a classic Huizhou architectural style with white walls, dark tiles and horse-head walls throughout. It is equipped with more than 30 large-scale amusement devices, several themed theaters, characteristic commercial streets and immersive performances, making it a distinctive Huizhou cultural amusement complex in East China for families, young people and cultural tourists.

History and Culture

Formerly known as Hefei Wanda Land, Hefei Sunac Land officially opened on September 24, 2016 as a key cultural tourism project in Hefei, filling the gap of large-scale Huizhou cultural theme parks in East China. In 2019, Wanda’s cultural tourism sector was acquired by Sunac Cultural Tourism Group, and the park was officially renamed Hefei Sunac Land. While retaining its core Huizhou culture, it has continuously upgraded amusement facilities, performances and services, becoming a landmark cultural tourism attraction in Hefei.

The park’s cultural connotation is rooted in thousands of years of Huizhou civilization, deeply integrating Huizhou merchant culture, Xin’an Neo-Confucianism, folk customs and southern Anhui landscapes. Huizhou architectural craftsmanship, Huangmei Opera and festival traditions are incorporated into park design and shows through live performances, interactive experiences and scene restoration, allowing visitors to intuitively experience the unique charm of Huizhou culture and serving as an important carrier for its inheritance and communication.

Since opening, Hefei Sunac Land has won honors including “Top Ten Tourist Attractions in Anhui Province” and “Hefei Cultural Tourism Demonstration Project”. It has received more than ten million visitors, boosted the cultural tourism industry in Baohe District, become a renowned theme park destination in the Yangtze River Delta, and continued to promote the integration and innovation of Huizhou culture and modern tourism.
