
Wulong Karst Tourist Area is located in the lower reaches of the Wujiang River in the southeast of Chongqing Municipality. Historical Culture
In May 1993, five villagers in Jiangkou Town discovered Furong Cave. On May 1, 1994, Furong Cave was officially opened to the public. From 1994 to 2001, five high-quality scenic spots including Furong Cave, Fairy Mountain, Tiankeng Three Bridges, and Longshuixia Ground Fissure were successively developed. On June 27, 2007, the Wulong karst landform in Chongqing was successfully inscribed on the World Natural Heritage List. Fairy Mountain National Forest Park
Fairy Mountain National Forest Park is a national 5A-level scenic spot with a total area of 8,910 hectares, an average altitude of 1,900 meters, and a maximum peak of 2,033 meters.
