Chongqing Happy Valley is located at No. 29 Jinyu Avenue, Yubei District, Chongqing. It is a national 4A-level tourist scenic area. Covering an area of 480,000 square meters, it is built against the mountain and is the first mountain-themed Happy Valley in the country. The park is divided into six major themed areas: Happy Time, Dream Island, Hurricane Bay, Dinosaur Forest, Old Chongqing, and Valley Mine Town. It has more than 100 world-class amusement projects, such as the world's most advanced winged roller coaster, the world's sixth-largest Ferris wheel, and the longest and largest wooden roller coaster in Southwest China.
Historical Culture
In 2014, Happy Valley officially settled in Chongqing and built Happy Valley Theme Park and Maya Beach Water Park in Lijia International Business Tourism City, Liangjiang New Area. On March 18, 2016, the first pile was driven on the front square of Chongqing Happy Valley Park. On April 15 of the same year, the first pile was driven for Happy Valley Theme Park. On May 15 of the same year, the first pile was driven for Maya Water Park. On July 8, 2017, the "mountain version" Happy Valley custom-made according to the landform of Chongqing's mountain city was officially opened. Maya Beach Water Park covers an area of 180,000 square meters. It diverts water into the mountains by taking advantage of the natural height difference and implants Maya cultural elements into the modern water amusement experience, bringing back the scene of the water carnival in the prosperous Maya era. One of the trains of the wooden roller coaster in Chongqing Happy Valley is cyan in color, and the front of the train is in the shape of a snake. The snake is a sacred object of the people in Bayu. Choosing a snake-shaped train integrates the cultural characteristics of the mountain city into the equipment.
Chongqing Eye
It is 120 meters high, about 40 stories tall. It takes 23 minutes to run a circle. There are 48 cabins in total. Each cabin is equipped with air conditioning. Each cabin can accommodate 6 tourists, and 288 tourists can ride at the same time. It is the tallest Ferris wheel in Southwest China and ranks sixth in the world. Tourists can overlook the entire Happy Valley and the beautiful scenery of the mountain city when they board the Ferris wheel.
Jungle Dragon
It is more than 1 kilometer long and is the longest and largest wooden roller coaster in Southwest China. All the wood for building the wooden roller coaster is imported from the United States. There are two trains in total, and the fastest running speed reaches 100 kilometers per hour. Tourists can experience the excitement brought by high speed, rotation, and falling, challenging the limit of their courage.
Soaring into the Sky
Located in the Dinosaur Forest area, along with the unpredictable flight trajectory, the pterosaur dives straight down from the high point of the valley and then climbs and rolls. People can experience the speed and passion like a fighter jet diving, dashing forward.
Flying over Chongqing
Located in the Old Chongqing area, as the seat slowly rises to a high place, the giant spherical screen, which is 7 stories tall, surrounds 100 tourists, presenting the magnificent scenery of Chongqing's mountains and rivers. With the change of the seat angle, tourists can be immersed in the experience of flying freely like a bird.
