Beijing Wildlife Park is located in Yufa Town, Daxing District, Beijing. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a large natural ecological park integrating wildlife protection, popular science education, sightseeing, and leisure vacation. With the purpose of "protecting animals, popular science education, and leisure tourism", the park is divided into multiple functional areas such as the self-driving tour area, walking tour area, and beast experience area, and is one of the larger wildlife parks in North China. The park covers an area of about 3,600 mu, with a green coverage rate of over 90%. It houses and exhibits about 200 species and more than 3,000 wild animals, including giant pandas, golden monkeys, Siberian tigers, African lions and other rare species, providing visitors with a close-up view of the natural habitat of wild animals.

Historical Culture

Beijing Wildlife Park was founded in 1993, formerly known as Daxing County Endangered Animal Center. It was officially opened to the public in 1996 and is a key popular science education base and eco-tourism project of the Beijing Municipal Government. The original intention of the park's construction is to promote wildlife protection. By displaying the natural behaviors and ecological habits of wild animals, it enhances the public's awareness of environmental protection and animal protection.

Over the years, Beijing Wildlife Park has achieved remarkable results in wildlife breeding and endangered species protection. It has successfully bred various rare animals such as golden monkeys, chimpanzees, and giraffes, making positive contributions to the continuation of species. At the same time, the park constantly enriches the forms of popular science education. Through animal behavior displays, popular science lectures, interactive experiences and other activities, visitors can deeply understand the living conditions and protection significance of wild animals, forming a unique ecological protection cultural atmosphere.
