Wuzhizhou Island Tourism Zone in Sanya City is located in Haitang Bay, Sanya City, Hainan Province. It is a national 5A-level tourist scenic area. Wuzhizhou Island is in the shape of an irregular butterfly, with a length of 1,400 meters from east to west and a width of 1,100 meters from north to south, covering an area of 1.48 square kilometers.

History and Culture
Wuzhizhou Island was formerly known as "Guqizhou". After Sanya City was established in Hainan, when the government departments verified the place names, they found that this island had the same name as another small island in Hainan, so it was renamed "Wuzhizhou Island".
Wuzhizhou Island used to be a military restricted area, and some remains of military facilities are still preserved on the island. With the development of tourism in Hainan, Wuzhizhou Island has gradually been developed into a tourist scenic area. Main Attractions
Lover's Bridge
The Lover's Bridge was originally an iron rope bridge, which was a sea observation point for the troops guarding the island in those days. Walking on the swaying iron rope bridge requires some courage and agility. Some ladies want to cross the bridge to experience the observation point, but they are afraid of falling into the sea, so they hold their friends' hands tightly when crossing the bridge. Therefore, this bridge is also jokingly called the "Lover's Bridge". Later, the scenic area transformed the iron rope bridge into the current wooden bridge, with a total length of about 100 meters, and it has become one of the must-visit attractions for couples.
Sunrise Rock
The Sunrise Rock is located at the southeast cliff of Wuzhizhou Island, 79.9 meters above sea level, and is the commanding height of the island. Standing on the rock, facing the sea and the wind, overlooking the whole island, the vast South China Sea is in full view. In the early morning, you can enjoy the most beautiful sea sunrise at the Sunrise Rock. The sun slowly rises from the sea level, casting a golden light, which is very spectacular.
Coral Hotel

- By Bus: You can take Bus No. 28 directly to the Wuzhizhou Island Wharf. The first and last bus times are from 07:00 to 18:00, and the fare is about 12 yuan.
- By Taxi/Online Car-hailing: Taking a taxi or online car-hailing from Sanya urban area to the Wuzhizhou Island Wharf costs about 80 to 100 yuan, and the driving time is about 40 minutes.

Opening Hours
Wuzhizhou Island Tourism Zone is open throughout the year, from 08:00 to 17:30. The last ferry to the island departs at 16:00, and the last ferry leaving the island departs at 17:30.
