Wuhu Fantawild Tourism Area is located in Jiujiang District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province, and is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It is a comprehensive leisure tourism resort integrating theme parks, hotel catering, and leisure and entertainment. The tourism area consists of four major theme parks: Fantawild Adventure, Fantawild Dreamland, Fantawild Water Park, and Fantawild Oriental Heritage, covering a total area of about 5 square kilometers. As one of the largest theme parks in China, Wuhu Fantawild Tourism Area integrates modern technology with traditional culture, receiving more than 5 million tourists annually.

History and Culture

On April 18, 2008, Fantawild Adventure, the first theme park of Huaqiang Fantawild in Wuhu, officially opened. On December 8, 2010, Fantawild Dreamland opened. On June 28, 2014, Fantawild Water Park officially opened for business. On August 16, 2015, Fantawild Oriental Heritage opened to the public. On November 4, 2016, Wuhu Fantawild Tourism Area became a new national 5A-level tourist attraction. In 2021, Wuhu Fantawild was selected into the first batch of national-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption clusters.

Wuhu Fantawild Adventure

It has many classic projects such as "Soaring Over the Horizon", "Dino Crisis" and "Fireball". "Soaring Over the Horizon" allows tourists to experience simulated high-altitude flight and enjoy scenic spots around the world; "Fireball" is a large suspended roller coaster, bringing exciting weightlessness and centrifugal experiences.

Wuhu Fantawild Dreamland

Themed on fairy tale magic, it has projects such as "Magic Castle" and "Flooding Jinshan Temple". "Flooding Jinshan Temple" integrates various high-tech expression forms to truly reproduce the scene of Bai Suzhen fighting Fahai at Jinshan Temple.

Wuhu Fantawild Water Park

It has water projects such as "Hurricane Bay", "Rainbow Slide" and "Boonie Bears Water Fort". "Boonie Bears Water Fort" has various slides and tipping buckets, suitable for parent-child play.

Wuhu Fantawild Oriental Heritage

It is a theme park interpreting traditional culture, with projects such as "Nu Wa Mends the Sky" and "Leifeng Pagoda". "Nu Wa Mends the Sky" is based on mythological stories and integrates multiple technologies, allowing tourists to take multi-degree-of-freedom dynamic tour vehicles to experience a fantastic journey.

Travel Routes

For a one-day tour, you can choose one park to visit according to your preferences. For example, in Fantawild Adventure, you can first play projects such as "Soaring Over the Horizon" and "Space Journey" in the morning, have lunch in the park restaurant at noon, and then play projects such as "Mystic River Valley" and "Fireball" in the afternoon. For a two-day tour, you can visit Fantawild Adventure and Fantawild Dreamland on the first day, and Fantawild Water Park and Fantawild Oriental Heritage on the second day. You can visit each project in each park in clockwise or counterclockwise order after entering the gate, and arrange your time reasonably to avoid missing any.

Travel Suggestions

  • Download the Fantawild Tourism APP in advance to check the queuing time of projects and plan your travel order reasonably.
  • Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that are easy to move in.
  • Prepare sun protection or rain gear according to the weather.
  • If you bring children or the elderly, choose projects suitable for them and avoid overly exciting facilities.

Notes

  • Abide by the park regulations and do not bring flammable, explosive and other dangerous items into the park.
  • Follow the instructions of the staff when playing projects, fasten your seat belt and hold the handrails tightly.
  • Take good care of your personal belongings, especially in crowded places.
  • Pay attention to weather changes and find a safe place to take shelter from rain in time in case of severe weather.

  • Bus: There are many bus routes available, such as Route 23 which can directly reach Fantawild Tourism Area from the railway station, and Route 45 is also available.
  • Self-driving: Navigate to Wuhu Fantawild Tourism Area, and there is a large parking lot in the park.

Opening Hours

Usually, each park opens at around 9:00 a.m., and the closing time ranges from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The specific time will be adjusted according to different seasons and holidays.
