Wuhu Fangte Tourist Area is located in Jiujiang District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province, and is a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It is a comprehensive leisure tourism resort integrating theme parks, hotel catering, and leisure entertainment. The tourist area consists of four major theme parks: Fangte Adventure, Fangte Dreamland, Fangte Water Park, and Fangte Oriental Heritage, covering a total area of about 5 square kilometers. As one of the largest theme parks in China, Wuhu Fangte Tourist Area combines modern technology and traditional culture, with an annual reception of over 5 million visitors.

History and Culture

On April 18, 2008, the first theme park of Huaqiang Fangte in Wuhu - Fangte Adventure - officially opened. On December 8, 2010, Fangte Dreamland opened. On June 28, 2014, Fangte Water Park officially started operation. On August 16, 2015, Fangte Oriental Heritage opened to the public. On November 4, 2016, Wuhu Fangte Tourist Area became a new national 5A-level tourist attraction. In 2021, Wuhu Fangte was selected into the first batch of national-level night culture and tourism consumption agglomeration areas.

Main Attractions

Wuhu Fangte Adventure

It has many classic projects such as "Soaring Over the Horizon", "Dino Crisis", and "Fire Meteor". "Soaring Over the Horizon" allows visitors to experience simulated high-altitude flight and enjoy famous scenic spots around the world; "Fire Meteor" is a large suspended roller coaster, bringing exciting weightlessness and centrifugal experiences.

Wuhu Fangte Dreamland

Themed around fairy tale magic, it has projects like "Magic Castle" and "Flooding Jinshan Temple". "Flooding Jinshan Temple" integrates various high-tech forms to realistically reproduce the scene of the White Snake fighting against Fahai in Jinshan Temple.

Wuhu Fangte Water Park

It has water projects such as "Hurricane Bay", "Rainbow Slide", and "Boonie Bears Water Village". "Boonie Bears Water Village" has various slides and tipping buckets, suitable for parent-child play.

Wuhu Fangte Oriental Heritage

It is a theme park interpreting traditional culture, with projects like "Nüwa Mends the Sky" and "Leifeng Pagoda". "Nüwa Mends the Sky" is based on mythological stories, integrating multiple technologies, allowing visitors to ride a multi-degree-of-freedom dynamic tour vehicle to experience a fantasy journey.

Opening Hours

Generally, each park opens at around 9:00 in the morning, and closing hours vary from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm, subject to adjustments according to different seasons and holidays.

Itinerary

For a one-day tour, you can choose one park according to your preferences. For example, in Fangte Adventure, you can start with projects like "Soaring Over the Horizon" and "Starflight" in the morning, have lunch at the park restaurant, and then visit "Mysterious Valley" and "Fire Meteor" in the afternoon. For a two-day tour, you can visit Fangte Adventure and Fangte Dreamland on the first day, and Fangte Water Park and Fangte Oriental Heritage on the second day. In each park, you can follow a clockwise or counterclockwise direction from the entrance to visit each project in order, arranging time reasonably to avoid omissions.

Transportation

  • Bus: There are multiple bus routes available, such as Route 23 which goes directly from the train station to Fangte Tourist Area, and Route 45 also reaches there.
  • Self-driving: Navigate to Wuhu Fangte Tourist Area, and the park has a large parking lot.
