Century Park Scenic Area is located at No. 14 Wuyi East Road, Hutubi County, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a high-quality scenic area completely built by hand in the urban area using existing topographical conditions in Xinjiang, and it is a national 4A-level tourist attraction. The scenic area covers an area of 180,000 square meters, distributed in a long strip, with a total length of 1.3 kilometers. Among them, there are 132,000 square meters of green space, 28,000 square meters of hardened ground, and 15,000 square meters of water surface. It integrates culture, fitness, leisure, and ecology, with Chinese garden-style buildings, as well as landscapes such as lakes and ponds.
History and Culture
Century Park began construction in the spring of 2004, was completed in three phases, and was completed in the autumn of 2007. Its name implies the renewal of all things in the century. Many buildings and landscapes in the park contain rich cultural connotations. For example, the Xinjiang Sai People Culture Museum reproduces the Kangjiashimenzi Rock Carvings in Hutubi County in a simulated form, and the collections in the museum display the local history and culture. There are 6 bronze carving sketches and 8 bronze carving walls, showing the local customs of Hutubi County and the happy life of all ethnic groups. In addition, the Three Gates condense and carve the history of China for five thousand years, and many landscapes reflect the close connection between the local area and the overall history and culture of the Chinese nation.
Main Attractions
Cuihu Lake
With an area of about 6,950 square meters, small boats are rippling on the lake, surrounded by boat-shaped docks, Love Island and other facilities. On the island, there are Lianli Pavilion, Mingxuan Tea House, winding corridors, as well as arch bridges, wooden trestle bridges and Lotus Bridges, full of the charm of Jiangnan water towns.
Xinjiang Sai People Culture Museum
Standing majestically on the central axis of Century Park, the museum reproduces the Kangjiashimenzi Rock Carvings in Hutubi County in a simulated form, allowing visitors to deeply understand the ancient Sai people culture of the local area through rich collections and display means.
Fountain Square
It is equipped with a waterscape fountain, which brings a spectacular visual effect through various water type transformations, 30-meter diagonal sprays, and central vertical sprays. Four dragon pillars are set around the fountain, like auspicious dragons calling for rain.
Baicao Garden
Inside the garden, flowers are in full bloom and colorful butterflies are flying, planting various flower plants. There are also many attractions around, such as the Mass Cultural Leisure Square on the north side, the Balcony for Moon Viewing on the south end, Chuanguang Qieying, etc., with a view at every step, showing the natural harmony between the landscape and the ecological garden.
Cuihu Shuyuan Urban Bookstore
Completed in 2023, with a construction area of nearly 500 square meters, it is set up with reading areas, rest areas for tourists and readers, teahouses, tourist commodity display areas and other regions. It has become an internet-famous attraction attracting tourists and readers, receiving hundreds of tourists daily.
Food
Roasted Mutton Skewers
Using fresh mutton, after special marinating, it is roasted over charcoal fire, with a crispy outer skin and tender inside, full of fragrance, and is a highly representative food in Xinjiang.
Baked Nang
As a traditional pasta in Xinjiang, it has various types, such as sesame nang, green onion nang, etc. Made mainly from flour, through fermentation and baking, it has a crispy taste and is convenient to carry and store.
Big Plate Chicken
It integrates ingredients such as chicken, potatoes, green peppers, and belt noodles. The chicken is tender, the potatoes are soft, the noodles are chewy, and it combines spicy, numb, fresh and fragrant flavors, being a classic representative of Xinjiang cuisine.
Hand-Grabbed Rice
Mainly made by braising rice, mutton, carrots, onions and other ingredients, it is shiny, fragrant and rich in nutrition.

Tour Route
Enter through the main gate at the southern end of Xishi Road. The first things that catch your eye are two 9-meter-high Fujian Huian granite ornamental pillars (Huabiao) and a screen wall. Next, visit Cuihu Lake to admire the Lotus Girl sculpture in the lake and the Peach Blossom Island in the center. Cross the Moon Bridge made of Quyang white marble from Hebei, and arrive at the Yufang (Jade Boat). Then proceed to the antique-style winding corridor and Mingxiangxuan Teahouse. After that, visit the Xinjiang Sai People Culture Museum to learn about the local history and culture. Subsequently, tour the Yule Pavilion, Taoran Pavilion, Time Tunnel, Zhiqu Pavilion and other attractions in sequence, and reach the Xishui Longtan (Splashing Water Dragon Pool) to view the lifelike sculptures of the nine sons of the dragon. Then stroll through the Baicao Garden to enjoy blooming flowers and colorful butterflies. Next, go to the North Mass Cultural Leisure Square, and then visit the southern attractions in order: Balcony for Moon Viewing, Chuanguang Qieying (Light-Penetrating Shadow), Wensheng Gubu (Pausing at the Sound), Dengshan Wenshui (Climbing to Gaze at Water), Qixing Square (Seven-Star Square), Bagua Square (Eight-Trigram Square) at the end of Baifu Road, Old and Young in Harmony, Qiankun Suiyue (Eons of Time), Zhonghua Wangshi (Chinese Historical Vignettes), Yuxiang Tianji (Fish Soaring in the Sky), Xianglong Huanyu (Auspicious Dragon Summoning Rain), and Fountain Square. Finally, visit the Zhelizhuang (Philosophical Garden) to admire the Twelve Zodiac landscapes. This route covers the main attractions and takes about 2–3 hours for a full tour.
