Xinhe Desert Flower Sea Scenic Area is located in Qiaolepanbage Village, Tashiarik Township, Xinhe County, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a regional-level civilized unit. The scenic area covers a planned area of about 3,000 mu, of which 400 mu is used for flower sea. Founded on July 8, 2016, with a total investment of 45 million yuan, the scenic area has initially formed a multi-format tourism complex integrating desert, flower sea, water body, science education, and entertainment. The scenic area has a tourist service center covering an area of 3,800 square meters, a large parking lot of 40,000 square meters, a scenic area square of 7,000 square meters, a 5-kilometer pedestrian sightseeing trail, and 3 AAA-level tourist toilets.
History and Culture
Xinhe County has a long history and was once the military and political center of the ancient Qiuci Kingdom. The Tonggusibaxi City Site is the location of the ancient Anxi Grand Protectorate of the Tang Dynasty. Since ancient times, it has been an important military reclamation fortress on the ancient Silk Road, where famous historical figures such as Zhang Qian and Xuan Zang have left their footprints. Qiaolepanbage Village, Tashiarik Township, where the scenic area is located, once had a harsh environment with boundless sand and wind. In 2016, Xinhe County firmly established the development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, and desert wastelands are also invaluable assets", and adopted a model of government support, enterprise operation, and mutual benefit to build it into the current Desert Flower Sea Scenic Area, creating a miracle of combining ecological construction and tourism development.

Flower Sea
The 400-mu flower sea spreads among the sand dunes, planted with more than 20 kinds of flowers such as roses, peonies, lotus flowers, and gesang flowers. Different seasons see different flowers blooming, forming a dreamlike beauty.
