Beijing Automobile Museum is located at No. 126, South Fourth Ring West Road, Fengtai District, Beijing. It is a national first-class museum and a national 4A-level tourist attraction. With a total construction area of approximately 50,000 square meters, it integrates a museum, exhibition hall, and science and technology museum. The architectural design is inspired by a bright "eye", symbolizing the museum's concept of looking to the world and facing the future. The exhibition halls, themed on "Science-Technology-Society", establish three halls and one area, transcending national and brand boundaries to showcase the century-long development history of the world's automobiles from scratch, as well as the birth, development, and growth of China's automobile industry.
History and Culture
The Beijing Automobile Museum was completed and opened in 2011, with the preparation work starting from scratch and overcoming many difficulties. It obtained the land acquisition approval in March 2004, broke ground in April 2006, completed the main structure in December 2007, finished all exhibition arrangements by the end of 2010, and officially opened in 2011.
