Kizilgaha Beacon Tower - Xinjiang Tourist Attraction

Kizilgaha Beacon Tower is located on the Gobi about 13 kilometers northwest of Kuqa City, Aksu Prefecture, Xinjiang. It is a key national cultural relic protection unit and a World Cultural Heritage site. The beacon tower is built with rammed earth in a hopper shape, 6.5 meters long from east to west, 4.5 meters wide from north to south, and about 16 meters high. It is one of the best-preserved ancient beacon towers in Xinjiang.

It borders Wensu County in the north, Aksu Canal in the east, the north of the southern line of National Highway 314 in the south, and Yiganqi Township in the west. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and the largest national wetland park in southern Xinjiang.
