Luoji Ninety-nine Miles Scenic Area is located in Qiaowo Town, Puge County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, about 45 kilometers south of Xichang City, the capital of Liangshan Prefecture. It is a national 4A-level scenic spot. The scenic area covers an area of about 8 square kilometers, and the highest altitude of Luoji Mountain is 4,359 meters. Its core landscape is a hot spring waterfall group with a width of more than 200 meters, with a daily water output of over 30,000 cubic meters. It is composed of dozens of hot spring waterfalls of different sizes, among which the highest waterfall has a drop of 50 meters, and the water temperature of the hot spring remains around 40°C all year round. Here are the world's largest hot spring waterfall, the world's only hot spring archipelago, and the world's only cliff hot spring, enjoying the reputation of "China's Most Beautiful Hot Spring Tourism Scenic Area".
History and Culture
Luoji Mountain has a history of being one of the earliest Buddhist holy lands in China. It was first developed in the Han Dynasty, and Buddhist activities flourished in the Tang Dynasty. During its peak period, Luoji Temple alone supported more than 3,000 monks and constructed numerous temples, some of which still remain as ruins today. Buddhists refer to Luoji Mountain as "Ziwei" (the Purple Star). According to records, there were as many as two pavilions and thirteen temples of the Caodong Sect on the western foot of Luoji Mountain alone.

Luoji Mountain Hot Spring Waterfall
It is the only natural hot spring (radon hot spring) in the world that can be viewed, appreciated, drunk, and used for healing. Dozens of hot spring waterfalls of different sizes form a hot spring waterfall group over 200 meters wide. The 40℃ hot spring water cascades down from the mid-mountain cliffs, creating a magnificent stalactite group where the waterfall flows, which in turn forms countless natural pools.
Dacao River Canyon
The valley is lush with trees, spiritual cliffs and strange rocks, flying waterfalls and flowing springs, with beautiful scenery.
Yaopingzi Ranch
It has a vast grassland and pleasant scenery, making it a good place to relax.
Baipu Valley
It is naturally formed. The stream sometimes rushes down and sometimes flows slowly in the valley. There are groups of waterfalls with different shapes, such as Rainbow Waterfall and Peacock Waterfall.
Rhododendron Flower Sea
There are more than 30 varieties of rhododendrons, among which the cream-colored large-leaf rhododendron is the rarest, known as the "Queen of Rhododendrons". From early spring to midsummer, tens of thousands of mu of rhododendrons compete for beauty, and the mountains are covered with a sea of rhododendrons.

Transportation
- Self-driving: Chengdu - Ya'an - Xichang - Puge County, with a total distance of about 500 kilometers. From Xichang, go south along Provincial Highway 212 to reach the scenic area.
- By bus: First go to Xichang, then take a bus from Xichang Tourism Distribution Center to Puge County, and after arriving in Puge County, transfer to a local vehicle to the scenic area.
