
Beijing International Flower Port is located in Yangzhen Town, Shunyi District, Beijing. It is a national 4A-level tourist attraction and a comprehensive flower industrial park integrating flower production, R&D, display, trading, tourism, leisure, and science education. The scenic area focuses on flowers, covering a total area of about 10,000 mu, with a core area of 3,000 mu. It has a 58,000-square-meter intelligent greenhouse, a 12,000-square-meter main flower exhibition hall, a 2,000-mu outdoor flower display area, and grows more than 1,000 kinds of flowers such as tulips, lilies, roses, and chrysanthemums.
History and Culture
Beijing International Flower Port was founded in 2007 as the flower supply base for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. It officially opened to the public in 2010 and has gradually developed into an important flower industrial cluster and tourist destination in North China. The park retains buildings such as the Olympic Flower Exhibition Center, witnessing the development of China's flower industry.
The scenic area hosts annual theme events such as the Tulip Culture Festival and Lily Culture Festival, spreading flower culture and promoting exchanges and cooperation in the flower industry at home and abroad through flower exhibitions, science lectures, flower art performances, and other forms.
Main Attractions
Main Flower Exhibition Hall
With a construction area of 12,000 square meters, the Main Flower Exhibition Hall is the core building of the park. The hall is divided into multiple theme exhibition areas, displaying rare flower varieties from home and abroad, advanced flower cultivation technologies, and exquisite flower artworks. There is also an interactive experience area where visitors can participate in flower arranging, flower pressing, and other activities.
Intelligent Greenhouse
The intelligent greenhouse covers a total area of 58,000 square meters and uses modern temperature control and irrigation systems to produce various flowers throughout the year. High-grade potted flowers such as Phalaenopsis, Anthurium, and pineapple, as well as cut flowers such as roses and chrysanthemums, are planted in the greenhouse. Visitors can learn about the growth process and cultivation techniques of flowers.
Outdoor Flower Display Area
The outdoor flower display area covers 2,000 mu and plants different flowers according to the seasons. In spring, tulips and hyacinths dominate; in summer, lilies and lotuses take center stage; in autumn, chrysanthemums and sunflowers bloom; and in winter, ornamental plants such as kale can be seen. The scenery varies throughout the four seasons.
Flower R&D Center
The Flower R&D Center focuses on the introduction, cultivation, and promotion of new flower varieties. Visitors can tour the laboratories and tissue culture workshops, learn about flower biotechnology and genetic breeding knowledge, and see rare flower varieties under development.
Food
Flower Theme Restaurant
Located within the scenic area, the Flower Theme Restaurant designs its dishes with flower elements, such as rose flower cakes, lily and lotus seed soup, and chrysanthemum health tea. The restaurant has an elegant environment with flower views outside the window, offering a unique dining experience.
Shunyi Copper Pot Hot Pot
The Shunyi Copper Pot Hot Pot around the scenic area features fresh mutton and traditional copper pots with charcoal fires, paired with sesame sauce for a mellow taste. Recommended dishes include hand-cut fresh mutton, lamb loin, and tripe.
Yangzhen Sugar-Baked Buns
Yangzhen Sugar-Baked Buns are a local specialty with a crispy outer crust and soft, sweet filling. The time-honored stores near the scenic area use traditional craftsmanship to ensure authentic flavors.

The ticket price is 30 yuan per person. Amusement projects require separate fees.

Tour Route

Visitors can adjust the route according to the season and interests. For example, focus on tulips in spring or experience lotus picking in summer.
Transportation
- By bus: Take bus routes Shun 18, Shun 19, Shun 20, Shun 21, or Shun 22 and get off at "Flower Port" station.
- By self-driving: From the urban area, drive along the Jingcheng Expressway to the Baima Road exit and head east for about 10 kilometers; or take the Airport Expressway to the Jingping Expressway, exit at Beiwu, and drive north for about 5 kilometers. There is a parking lot inside the scenic area, charging 10 yuan per day.
